2021 rebel 1500 with 5.7 hemi won't engage 4WD even though on dash indicates in 4WD. Front wheels won't spin

Hoping someone has suggestions of something to check or try. 2021 Rebel 1500 with 5.7 hemi. I live in Idaho at 6500' in snow country and need the 4WD to get out of the driveway sometimes. Dash light indicates i an=m in 4Auto or 4Hi or 4Lo or 4 low with axel lock but front wheels won't turn. I know it would be something to do with the transfer case but everything I can find it would seem if the actuator wasn't working the 4WD light would flash and would not let the vehicle shift. The dealer is 80 miles away and the roads are going to be pretty crappy to drive through the mountains to town to have this worked on. No drive train codes stored. FWIW. TIA

Does it make any noise at all like it’s trying to go into 4WD ?

Fatehrof3, negative, no noise. Did make a slight noise/thunk when I locked the rear axle when in 4lo but front wheels still not spinning. thanks
