My 19' RAM needs it's second exhaust manifold replacement due to warpage/ broken bolts. It was diagnosed in September (2024). It's now almost February and the dealer claims it's still on back order (passenger side). I'm normally a pretty patient person, but the tapping sounds upon startup has progressively gotten worse.

Who can I contact at RAM to get the dealer to understand the urgency a bit more? I know this part has been on allocation for some time, but I feel it's a bit ridiculous it's going on 7 months. I don't feel like my dealer is even trying.

You didn't say whether or not you were under warranty. If you are tired of waiting, a different manifold thread had this to say:
I've been waiting 6+ months for warranty replacement of my passenger side. No parts available since forever. This is my third cracked stud/manifold - I'm at 130,000 miles and it happened at least 10k miles ago. I'm just going to do it myself at this point. The time and money seems worth it after all the wasted time and frustration dealing with my local Ram dealer.

I just ordered the full BD kit p/n # 1041467 from BD directly. Now I just have to deal with the broken stud extraction...

Word of advice, I would go ahead and order some better replacements bolts. I don’t know if it was just a manufacture issue or a supply issue but I received two different brand of bolts with my BD order. Both 8.8 rated bolts but different markings didn’t noticed till after I went through the install, got around to the end to torque the replacement bolts down and snapped. So proceeded to remove manifolds and extract bolt. Questioned maybe if it was my torque wrench having issues.. went and grabbed another one.. proceeded to reinstall everything again… snapped another thats when I noticed the different marking and the same marking for the bolts I had broken. Btw took the extra time out prior to all this to chase the threads clean so I know that wasn’t an issue.

If using the BD kit. M8-1.25x60mm is the bolt size. i recommend going with the yellow zinc class 10.9 for replacement. Fastenal had them cheap if you could wait for shipping or in a pinch Dorman offered some local at the parts store but low stock and much more pricer.

I took my truck (2020) to the dealer last July for manifolds, Truck had 59K on it at the time... They didn't have them in stock and had to order them, The first week of august they changed both manifolds under 5yr/60k Powertrain warranty.

when the leak/ broken bolts were detected I was under maxcare. My maxcare has since expired, however I’ve been assured since it was logged before it expired its still covered. My fear js the longer this drags on, the chances go down each day that passes.

i do have a good low millage set i took off when i put my kooks headers on if you are interested

Brought my truck in for other work early December, all covered on mopar extended warranty, and asked about it. They ordered both sides. I waited for all parts to be in and dropped it off last Saturday, it should all be done by today. Front diff, all axles and front Mopar fox shocks replaced. I waited so I only had to pay deductible once.
Short story is it took a little over a month to get the manifolds.
The longest wait was trying to source the shocks.
I did the leg work found them in another dealership, informed the one my truck is in and they were able to get them transferred. So look into finding yourself and ask about a transfer. The dealership who had them told me to tell the dealer to do the internal switch, they had them in a week. At first my repairing dealership told me I had to pay 20% out of pocket, I refused and told them I would just take my truck to the other dealer and give them the almost 8K repair, since the supplier was equally away from my house in the opposite direction, guess what happened ? LOL

UPDATE: I called my dealer's service manager last week and expressed my frustration pretty directly. Miraculously after a 7 month wait, the manifold showed up two days later. They are available, they are just on allocation (meaning they can only oder one every week or so). If you don't hound the dealership, they are just going to keep bumping you in line.
Install was done last week and it sounds great. Let's see how long this one lasts. Now that I'm out of warranty, when it fails I'm either going with the BD kit or headers.
