Well I bought and installed AMP Boards on my brand new 2025 Laramie. Perfect fit, ran all the wires, and after opening the panel in the dash by the driver side to plug them in found out its empty! They moved that fuse power box where the Boards Plug in. Has anyone else had this issue? I have installed these on my las t4 Ram Trucks and never had an issue.

Were you able to get this figured out?? I just picked up a 2025 Laramie myself and was wondering about the compatibility since Real Truck doesn’t include 2025 as a guaranteed fit for the amp power running boards. Looks like fit isn’t an issue but power is?

Me too...Just waiting for Real Truck to come up with the electrical solution... My steps are locked in the up position while I wait...

Seems every time I reach out to Realtruck I get a different answer on these. First time (mid Oct) I tried to order they gave the part number for a 2024 Ram. When I called to confirm that fitment they told me they didn't have them ready for the '25's yet. They said the electrical connection was giving them problems but they thought they'd be ready by the end of the month. Reached out via email (end of Oct) and they replied that they'd let me know when they were available. Got an email a couple of days later (early Nov), "good news - they're available." Talked to a Realtruck rep at SEMA hoping they'd have some show deals (they didn't) and he said the steps for the '25's weren't ready yet. Hmmm...

Today I replied to the email from early Nov where they said they were ready. The invoice they sent linked to a part for a 2025 Chevy/GMC. Again tried to confirm fitment via chat. No, they're not available yet (same rep that sent to original email). They weren't sure how they confused a 2025 Ram for a 2025 GMC... Rep told me "they will be dropping any day" which I guess is technically true... They're supposed to send an email when they do.

yes, I have installed everything, only the 2 pin plug is missing. feeling tired to uninstall and return it.

I’m in the exact same boat as you. I installed myself and the problem is the canbus system was changed for 2025 and the old system no longer works the same.

I wonder if we could add the magnets to the doors to make them work without being connected to the canbus?

I'm thinking of just getting the Mopar boards. The install doesn't seems that bad, but will require a trip to the dealer to add the feature.

Just had the mopar boards installed on my ‘24 Laramie. Love them. Integrates with Uconnect. I can deploy them on my screen for cleaning etc. same price as AMP. I had AMP on two f150’s prior and they were good but I didn’t like that they needed to be plugged into the ODB2 port. Mopar boards are designed to plug into factory wiring.

My two cents

Just an update…. Amp still doesn’t have a work-a-round. I too just installed the boards only to have to uninstall them. Purchased from 797 performance where they were advertised as fitting the 2025. 😭

That's the problem, didn't ask if they work. They fit Great on the truck

I got tired of waiting for the AMP steps to find a solution for the 25's, so I ordered the OEM Mopar boards. Mechanically they're easy to install. Wiring is kind of a PITA. The dealership I ordered them through added the sales code for free. Overall I'm satisfied.

The westin brand power running board use this method. I have them on my 2020 power wagon and they are great.

Yep! Did the same thing, was told there were no work-a-rounds yet. Pretty crappy of Ram to do that.

ETA given to me by an AMP rep was 3-4 months for a “solution” that will work with the 2025 RAM. As other folks have mentioned in other threads, this is out of engineering and is moving to manufacturing.

Everytime I'd previously contacted AMP/RealTruck I got the same ETA going all the way back to September, so take that with a grain (bucket) of salt....

Ok, So AMP was bought out by REALTRUCK.com I spoke to them just the other day . They said they are waiting for 500 units to be delivered about a month out is what i was told.
