I’m new to this whole alfaobd thing and purchased an android tablet purchased the bypass cable obdlink mx+ paid for Alfa OBD but is it just my truck that doesn’t offer as much as I read on the threads as to what I can change? For instance, I have a 2019 ram 1500 DT ETORQUE crew cab 4x4 tradesman. I have the factory safety plug on hood latch and the dual colored wire at pin 11 (I’ve done a lot of homework) even bought tailgate damper for remote to drop tailgate but couldn’t find anything in Alfa for remote start to turn on etc Am I missing something here or just plum stupid lol

You should have what everyone else has. Nothing different on your vehicle except maybe because it is a tradesman and would be stripped down. @Jimmy07 any ideas?

I did a whole write up on here about activating factory remote start. There were I believe 2 settings in Alfa you had to turn on, then have a new fob with the remote start button and tailgate open button (if you're wanting that) programmed/cut at the dealer. You also have to drive the truck after having everything done for it all to take effect.
