Hi all - I’m looking for recommendations for forward-facing harness to booster car seats that fit the quad cabs well.

I have a Graco “slim-fit” which worked well rear facing, but because of the steepness of the quad cabs seat back, when its forward facing there is a gap behind much of the car seat and the instructions state it can’t be used as a booster like that.

I’m wondering if there are models out there that fit better…

Thanks!

I can't help you with a seat that converts from rear to front to booster but I used Clek seats for rear and front. Not only are the shirt front to back but also side ro side so they fit 3 across better than most. The Diono is similar in dimensions. The Clek is crazy expensive but it is extremely well made and I was able to recover a significant amount selling them after we moved to boosters. I preferred the seperate booster as they are less expensive and much lighter and user friendly etc.

My last 2 rams were quad cabs. Any car seat or booster seat sold will fit a quad cab just fine. A rear seat in a quad cab ram is still more roomy than the rear seat in almost every car sold.

Can you stick the kid in one of these and just toss them in the bed? Your cab would stay cleaner.

Thanks folks. Here is where I am coming from; that gap behind the seat is not ideal apparently (in seat-belt booster mode).

I’m not there yet, but it was a pain enough job to set the seat in there and route the tether that I want another one just for the truck that fits the incline of the QC’s seat better. I’ll keep this seat for my wife’s vehicle.
