The configurator isn't always accurate. Things go available and not available all the time. Only the dealers can tell.I just built a 2025 Crew 6.4 Bed Big Horn Level 2 on the configurator and it didn’t give me an option for fuel tank size. I too would prefer 33 over 23. Not sure if it’s a deal breaker tho.
Valid point. Thats not very conducive for truck buyers that aren’t as thorough as some of us are. Def doesn’t help driving sales. Lol.The configurator isn't always accurate. Things go available and not available all the time. Only the dealers can tell.
That's why, before ordering my truck, before production started, and long before they had the build and price for 24, I contacted Charles, my salesman. He emailed me screenshots of his computer, of all the choices available.Valid point. Thats not very conducive for truck buyers that aren’t as thorough as some of us are. I just happened to get Charles. I think they have 3 guys, that work on internet sales. Charles was exceptionally good though. Any time I called to ask anything, he would tell me, no problem, call any time. Only one time was he busy when I called, but called right back, and kept apologizing, for not being able to take the call right away.Looks like I need to find Charles in a few years when it’s time to buy a new truck! I love how you have spreadsheets and such. I did months and months of research, most people thought I was crazy. Until I came home with my truck and they were blown away with what I paid for it. Lol
There will be many things different in few years. Building and pricing a few years in advance will set you up for disappointment down the road.in a few years when it’s time to buy a new truck
You don’t say? I’m just teasing man. I understand things will be very different in a few years. Who knows, maybe the Hemi will make a comeback, or Ram will actually listen to some forum member feedback. One can only hope. Lol. But one thing is for certain, I will continue to do my research and find the road with the least disappointment. Lol.There will be many things different in few years. don't believe that configurator it's the worst tool of all the big 3 motor companies for accuracy and consistency.I just built a 2025 Crew 6.4 Bed Big Horn Level 2 on the configurator and it didn’t give me an option for fuel tank size. It’s been like that since the beginning. I’m amazed after all these years they still cannot get it to run smoothly with no glitches and clean up all accuracy issues. It’s litterally the first impression new customers get when shopping for a new vehicle. Not a good look at all for the company.don't believe that configurator it's the worst tool of all the big 3 motor companies for accuracy and consistency.
Maybe the people they fired were the ones who created and supported the online configurator. It would make sense if they got fired since the builder is essentially a video game with different outcomes every time you play it.It’s been like that since the beginning.
