Why would the MAX Trailer light come on my Ram 3500 dually truck when pulling a 15,000 lb. Gooseneck trailer?

The max trailer light comes on when I tow a 20 foot utility trailer. It's just telling me it has extended blind spot monitoring to the maximum length to accommodate the added length of the trailer .

You should have Uconnect settings for Trailer Length Blind Spot Alert. I believe it's either Auto or Max.

According to the video below, the 2500 and 3500 trucks have the option to select trailer type for blind-spot monitoring. Selecting Gooseneck deactivates the system since it does not support Gooseneck trailers.
