Call Stelantis 800-992-1997 explain it. They gave me a case# and mine is being replaced. The dash is on back order

on my 2021 Limited i have the same issue. After months of back and forth, RAM/Stelantis stated they will not warranty it. Luckily my local dealer is taking care of it out of good faith.

Same issue here on 2019 Limited. This just should not happen on a high-end truck <5 years old. The finish on this truck looked great new, but construction quality is awful. Too many issues for me; switching back to Ford.

Did you have to go into the dealer and have them do a diagnostic? I emailed fca or stellantis last year and they basically told me to go to the dealer and pay 195 to have someone look and diagnose it. Lol i was like the bubbling is clearly visible. Super annoying on such a high end trim

This is an issue across every single Mopar car made with a leather dash. It's such a crap design, and they keep deploying it. Best advice is to tint the front windshield with clear, heat rejecting film and use a sunshade when parked.

Yes, RAM will want the service ticket documentation first before they go any further.

Haven't seen much talk about others failing? Which brands are you referring to?

All of them

Suggest starting with the corvettes, been an issue with C6, C7 and C8.

Yep, C6-8 Corvettes, Mercedes ect

High end truck 😄
Wonder how the people with 500K Ferraris and Lambos feel

A Limited is a high end truck. You should know since you own one. ;)
He said nothing about high end sports cars. If I owned a Ferrari or Lamborghini I'd feel pretty good.

No but the inference was cost. A 65k isn't high end and when you have 100K+ trucks, I don't know that the limited is that high end. Point is that this is occuring in 300-700K cars as well as a 65k truck so cost of the vehicle, high "endedness" isn't relevant.

I'm not at all saying we shouldn't be unhappy, I'd be unhappy if it were happening in my Ferrari just as much as I would my truck. The cost of the vehicle gives people a false expectation of quality

He has a 2019 Limited. In 2018-2019, when his truck would have been new, there were no $100k production trucks that I'm aware of. You'd have a hard time finding a new Limited for $65k now. A well equipped Limited would sticker around the $80k range. I think most people would consider that high end for a truck.

You're spot on about other brands having the same issue. I've seen people complaining about the same thing in Audi and Corvette forums. The problem is definitely not unique to Ram trucks.

No need to be a condescending ***. I literally was asking for examples.

I wasn't being condescending, I was answering your question.
As I said, this is a problem for every OEM and the solution is likely synthetic leather or vinyl.

If there was an option for the limited and a none leather dash, I'd have opted for it because it's only a matter of time.

Yeah, there's a reason why Lexus and Acura don't use them. My '18 Trackhawk has fared well, even in the Vegas heat when I lived there. I garage it but would drive it to work occasionally. I have both my Trackhawk and my Limited 1500 windshields tinted with clear film, which rejects a tremendous amount of heat. Also use a sunshade when parked. Fingers crossed.

I do as well, windshield ceramic IR tint and sunshade. My hope was that those two would prevent any dash problems however the gauge pod covers continues to have glue issues so I believe its a glue issue
