Coolant smell

Anyone. Get a coolant smell around the front end?

Once in a while. I've looked carefully for leaks and checked the level. It hasn't lost any. I suspect mine is just the reservoir getting churned up when the radiator cap vents.

Every now and then after driving and the engine is hot I will smell some. As with Richard, I have looked and could never find any leaks and level hasn't dropped any.

I swore I smelled coolant through a hose yesterday, as I put my nose to the center of a bone dry hose and smelled coolant. I’ve never experienced that before. Must be good ol’ Fiat quality.

Most likely the overflow tank. The cap is for decorative purposes. It's not a tight seal
