I'm thinking about measuring the fluid I drain out replace the pan & filter with one from the dealer and adding the exact amount of Ram ZF fluid back in. I'm not sure about trying to refill it with the truck running and in gear and waiting for the correct temperature.- ZF owner

If I drain my transmission 2019 Ram 2500 with an 8HP75 replace the pan & filter and put the same amount of Ram ZF fluid back in that I took out should be fine right?- ZF owner
