Anyone have a part number for the UAX radio module? Mine is dead. The stealer says if I was the 1st owner I'd be getting a new one free. I need to find a used one.
So we have a bit of a conundrum here. Follow the manual for change interval but don't follow the recommendation on the oil weight because 30 is better. I ran 5-30 in my 05 hemi with no issues.
So what's the basis for MOPAR saying 5-20? is it .02mpg improved?
I merely indicated that it was a MDS lifter that failed. My understanding is the idle speed is so low that some lifters receive very little lubrication if extended idling takes place.
Interesting that here I'm seeing -w30 recommendations and many other places say -w20. I'd like to see more...
Engine failure is due to lifter failure in cyl 8 (MDS). I looked into replacing MDS parts and continuing but I"m not finding a very high success rate once there is a bunch of metal parts turned loose in the motor. My plan is to replace the 122k motor with a 45k motor and as soon as possible...
So I was at the dealership yesterday. found out my 19 1500 needs a new engine at 122k. We were discussing oil changes and I said I did what the computer told me. The Service manager shook his head and said "Ignore that thing, I don't know why they do that. No more than 5500 miles on a change"
The last time I hooked up a trailer and put the truck in tow haul it worked properly. Dash says tow haul mode engaged but the icon that showed the length of the trailer didn't appear. No codes present. No damage to vehicle at all. Any ideas why it wouldn't work?
I just did the driver's side. Passenger in September. Not the worst job I've done. But well worth it not to sound like crap. The Mrs. Is much happier with her truck too and that's a win for both of us.

I'm not the Original owner so I've had to buy them (thanks Stelantis) the passenger side was $96 and the Drivers was $120. This is a HUGE upgrade from my Gen 3, which I just had machined flat and reinstalled. Hopefully the "revised part" doesn't split in half. I'm inclined to think a retorque...
Last question, then I'll go shopping for a different truck.
I will be upgrading the suspension, whatever truck I get. It seems the stock suspension parts are the weakest link. If I install HD coils and coil overs- ie: Tuftruck springs- am I fooling myself? Worked like a charm on my dads 99 dodge...
