Hey guys,
Quick update here. I ordered from Craig at Koons on 12/13, got my BS on 2/3, WS on 2/5, and amazingly the truck arrived at Koons on 2/8.
I was super excited about that, but I learned the hard way between then and now that while you can complete your purchase from Koons remotely, you...
Just spoke with Craig. The answer is yes you can do it remotely, but it is a bit of a process. They wont start it until the truck lands at the dealership, at which point you can fill out the credit app online and they will fedex you the documents to sign and notarize and send back.
So with...
Wow sorry to hear about your experience. At least it doesn't sound like Craig has been actively bad to you, and that the bad experience happened under the watch of a different salesman (though it was the finance department that was so absurd).
Seems like it maybe makes sense to get pre-approved...
I am very curious to hear about that as well - I actually planned to do all the finance work remotely and have my family in DC take the delivery of the truck and road trip it down to me in DFW. What you are saying @Xchief would indicate that I wouldn't be able to do that, which is something I...
That's so cool that ours should be shipping together. 9 days would be amazing if it happened for us too - it is certainly reasonable to believe that going to the DC area and to a dealership that has multiple trucks coming from the train depot each day would yield a faster shipping time than the...
haha yes i do understand the concept of an average (i work in strategy and analytics in the finance industry :))
i was hoping people had had faster experiences with koons (and there are tons of folks on here who have ordered from Craig there) because there are multiple factors which would seem...
Wow that is great news! Thank you so much triple_B.
I am curious if anyone on her has recent firsthand experience with WS to delivery times for Koons. I know VA says just under 19 days on average in @Eighty's info, but the optimist in me wants to think that Koons would be faster on average both...
I just noticed on my build sheet that it says "Pirelli Brand Tires"
I got the Night Edition, so these are the 22's. I thought they were Goodyear Eagle Touring tires. Am I just making that up? Does anyone know which Pirellis they are putting on the 22's?
Thank you @triple_B!! And thank you for all the work you do helping us as we anxiously await our trucks.
I guess the factory was really in a Blue Limited mood yesterday :)
Haha Koons in VA - probably not what you were expecting me to say - honestly with Craig at Koons offering that insane of a deal I didn't think I could ever beat it, and didn't feel right trying to get local dealers to match it (not that they would have matched 6% below invoice...). I am from DC...
Apologies in advance if this has been answered in the thread before, but is there any general consensus on rough time from going D1 to getting build sheet? It has been a little over a week for me now, and I am curious if i should be expecting a BS any day, or if it might be a month or more away...
Thanks! Good to hear that you have had a relatively quick experience getting onto the production line, even with lots of options. I ordered a mostly loaded Limited Night Edition, no sunroof but with Ram Boxes. Those Ram Boxes are my concern based on anecdotal evidence from the forum here...
