I have NAV in my 2021, but rarely use it (if ever). I just use the Car Play for Goggle/Apple/Waze maps. It's kind of a joke that they want to charge us $100 for an updated map when they include updated maps for every year AFTER 2021.
The LED dome lights are a HUGE improvement over the halogen lights. The illumination is much better, which is what I was looking for. I still need to replace the footwell lights to complete the job. (y)
What angle was that pic from? Trying to get a frame of reference.
I had the leak, dealer replaced the CHMSL. I confirmed that they replaced it with the most recent version. Looked again the other day after it had rained, still leaking. No visible cracks in the window surround on the inside, but...
True statement. 👆👆👆
I have the same water leak. It's either the CHMSL or a cracked rear window surround. In my case, it's the CHMSL. Should (hopefully) have the replacement CHMSL at the dealer sometime next week.
In the meantime, I noticed that if I park my truck on an incline (my driveway is...
Just had the wife drop off the truck at a local dealer to address the dreaded, but all too common leaking window and/or CHMSL, AND check-off the tailgate recall that I've been ignoring (since my tailgate works perfectly). The dealer said he'll get it fixed today so they must have parts available...
Can you even hear the radio? The speaker is on top of the unit (unless there is also one in the microphone). In that spot I would think that the speaker would be muffled extensively.
To turn off the ECO mode, use the +/- gear selector buttons on the steering wheel. After changing into D, set the gear to 8 and the trans will not go into ECO mode but will still function normally. I usually use ECO mode on the freeways and set to non-ECO on the side streets.
I bought grease. I bought the clamps. I tried to pull the slip yoke drive shaft off, but the bolts are so tight that I just about stripped one and gave up. Maybe it's just me, but it seems you need an impact wrench (which I do not possess) to get those bolts loose.
Next oil change, I'm going to...
Well I have the 3.92 so that pretty much rules out the differential. I DO have the split rear driveshaft though, which seems to be the culprit from everything I've read. I wonder if there will ever be a legit FIX instead of the preverbal band-aid (grease re-pack).
Question: do you have the 3:21 or the 3:92 rear end? Wondering if that makes a difference. I too have a minor 'thump' when leaving from a stop. I can mitigate it depending on how I stop and/or applying both brake and gas at the same time at a stop light/sign. It's been bugging me for a few days...
