Thanks, I decided to go with the Garmin Parking Mode Cable and hardwire it to the fuse box. I was just trying to be as lazy as possible before. I assume I'll use two add a fuses, one F33 for the "Batt" connection (Always on) and the F66 for the "ACC" connection.
EDIT: Had the fuses backwards
You can also call them, and tell them you don't want to renew unless there are promotions. I got 60% off Guardian for a year. I use the Remote Start Features from my phone so it was worth it to me.
I assume this will require replacement head unit... Time to wait for infotainment to have complete OEM upgrades. Or maybe someone will crack the uax and enable a sw upgrade
Has anyone figured out if we can get the navigation from Android Auto to show up on the gauge cluster and/or the heads up display?
I can get media track information but my navigation doesn't seem to show up there, only does when using the uconnect nav.
I believe its mainly cause they are glossy, so the sunlight reflects and I can't "read" what the button is. Overtime this probably wont be an issue since I'll have muscle memory of what the controls do.
Yea, so it really seems like the ambient lighting Dial brightness doesn't impact them much at all. When in direct sunlight its almost impossible to see the icons on the buttons regardless if Lights are on or off
So while driving my truck this morning I Realized the side buttons on the uconnect screen have LEDs behind them to make them visible at night. However when in daylight and screen brightness is up, the LEDs turn off. Which in certain situations makes those buttons unreadable.
Does anyone know...
