I did a quick search and this is the cheapest I could find. Might be able to search a bit more and find it cheaper. $1,363.40 with black tips and 1,312.72 with chrome tips. Shipping is free. There might be a place to get it without taxes for a couple bucks less too...
Honestly, the answer to your question changes from person to person so it’s hard to answer. This is my first Catback system on a vehicle so I don’t have much to compare it to. I did have the B2 Fab cut and clamp muffler before I put the AWE system on mine though. The B2 did have some drone...
I live in south Louisiana so I keep mine on lo in the summer and in the 70’s in fall, winter, and spring. So mine never shuts down when it’s super hot out. I don’t have any complaints about the Start/Stop in the Ram, to me, it is the best system out there for Start/Stop. The ones that use the...
If you have the air temperature set lower than the actual cabin temperature the auto stop will not happen. I have never had mine stop with the A/C set to “Lo”. Turn the air up to 70ish and mine will stop most days. Same goes for when it’s cold. If you have it set at 80 but the cabin is 60, it...
Didn’t really notice a change in the ride. I don’t take my truck off road though so I can’t say how the handling is or was before in that aspect. Also, since that post my truck settled and it sits about 3/4” lower in the front than the back. So the struts lifted the truck roughly 1 1/4” in the...
I ordered mine from Redline360.com. I paid $1150 for it with the chrome tips. The price now is higher than that but they have the exhaust in stock. Got mine in 3 days. They have 12 with chrome tips and 19 with black tips in stock right now according to their website.
Mine were standard load range as well. I really thought they wouldn’t make much noise or ride rough but I felt every bump in the road and on a road trip I looked at my wife and said, dang these tires are noisy and she said yeah they really are. She isn’t one to complain, she loves my AWE...
Mine still looked new at 10k miles. I think they would have lasted. I drive too much for the noise and harsh ride of them though. I have a friend that has the X/T’s and he said his ride fine and don’t make much noise.
I had the Venom Power RT+ on my truck. They were 305/45/22. Had them for about 10k miles. I thought they rode ok at first but the more I drove on them the worse they seemed to get, to me. They would get random shakes, I just attributed it to being a 22” tire for the most part, but the sidewall...
I just did this a couple weeks ago. Same vent broken. It took me about 20 minutes, mainly because I was being careful. The plug for the USB is a pain to get off. The other plugs was simple. You will have to pull the cup holders up a bit once you get the back of the console off. There is a screw...
It really depends on how close your house is to your neighbor. After about 20-30 seconds it really mellows out on cold starts. But initially, it’s definitely loud. I also live in a smaller, quiet neighborhood and I am able to keep the exhaust sounds down when I leave at 4:00 am as long as I...
I have the AWE catback and the road noise from the stock tires is louder than the exhaust at highway cruising speeds. I think you can’t go wrong with any catback system.
Does anyone know how to remove and replace the vents on the back of the console? Not sure how but I have a broken one and need to replace it. I had a broken one on the center stack next to radio too and replaced it already. Not sure how that one happened either, I just got in the truck one day...
