One dealer tech wrote the recall pays 0.7h at warranty rate which is f all.
If you bring it in with errors they will likely want to fix that before attempting the recall which would either be a customer pay or warranty claim. I would think you'd need to tell them what you did and to leave the...
Can anyone that's successfully made changes and completed the Proxi alignment have a proxy back up to share of before and after changes for their BCM? Just the alfaOBD hex code proxy backup files would be great. Any changes you've made on the same truck ?
No it looks like we got stuck with the...
Besides being unethical, it wouldn't be easy to remove it where it's located anyway and truck would freak out as soon as you swapped until proxi is done. Good point.
For anyone interested in setting up a witech account here is some really good step by step instructions directly from witech tech support. Wish I had this when I first started and have tried to explain process to couple people now, this should help anyone interested out.
Thank you for your...
Trucks built from first one to Nov 2025 were only ones with the module revision numbers that could melt inside. Check the recall it tells you which build dates and which module part numbers are affected. So since Nov 2025 they've been using new part number and chances are it's only this slow...
Same part number but newer version code so the last letter would increase in sequence. Whatever they can order will work as they won't be selling any of the bad ones anyway. Ask your parts guy for what is latest version of the part you have and see how long to get it.
Regardless if you have...
Hey guys I'm reading your replies and I wish I had an answer but I don't. It worked on mine a level 0 rebel and the same method was posted by an rho owner who made downpipes for the HO.
I've had the same experience. I would always be at low 10.8 to 12 maybe but often in 11s. Now it's always in...
I spoke to several dealers and the service manager should know what it is. Techs definetly do. Dodge products have been using proxi alignment for years nothing new. What you don't want the tech doing is first restoring module configuration to stock. There is an option for them to restore modules...
That is not a change made by alfaobd, it's an option under misc functions in Witech so no proxi needed. Again please review the alfaobd app to see all available options under body computer. You will not find TPMS pressure threshold in the list for this body computer as viewed as Cherokee WL...
I agree I thought I didn't post that and will delete that video reference, had it as draft from yesterday. I was just showing how fast the MDP pods are with Witech compared to other good j2534 tools even cardaq being much slower for flashing. However decided not to post not needed as it just...
Download Alfaobd and go through all the available settings in the body computer under Cherokee WL. It can only change options in the BCM body control module not the rest of modules.
Watch a YouTube video to learn how the app works, lots of resources, it's the same app that's been around for...
If you go 4" you'll regret it. 2800 for a 4" kit not installed is nothing special. Kits can be bought for 1500 to 2500 plus install which typically is 1000 plus shocks if you want to add. The price of below 5000 installed with wheels tires and lift sounds not bad. We used autofx in Hamilton...
accroding to Chrysler service manuals alot of bolts are 1 time use including the nut on upper front anti sway bar Link, the seat bolts technically are 1 time use but we've all reused them over the years without issue. I talked to a tech who's been doing these recalls without removing the seat...
clock time zone and sync are required on PC.
using green j2534 Topdon got following results:
can change TPMS under misc can read and clear all dtcs
proxi alignment tried to do single modules without any changes in Alfaobd:
ORC module is first in list and it stays at aligning ECUs please wait...
