Thanks - were you tires also 285/45/R22 ? I see a lot of folks posting these tires on smaller rims: Either 20" or 18". I actually think these tires ride pretty nice but don't have much experience in rain or snow (only 300 miles or so on them). Can someone with longer ownership provide some...
Does anyone have experience with Falken wildpeak AT3AW. These came as OEM on my 2024 Ram 1500 with off road package. My tires size: 285/45 R22.
I just got new truck and trying to figure out if I should keep them. Please share your experience.
I just heard that HEMI V8 is coming back to many (if not all) Stellantis vehicles. I hope this is really true. I need another custom build Ram 1500 with HEMI engine.
Sorry to hear you are having all those issues. Did they buy your truck back? I had 2022 Ram 1500 Limited (HEMI) with all options. Totaled in car accident. Looking for new truck but the more i read about the 2025 1500 the less i want it. Your review was posted a couple months ago - has anything...
Hi Xanathar - I had 2022 Ram 1500 Limited but lost it in car accident (totaled). Zero issues for 40K miles. I'm thinking of getting the 2025 Limited but i see lots of issues with the new truck, engine, electronics, etc. Your review was in August, since than how would you describe your...
Most michelin tires are great but not all, some are just ok. I've had probably 7 or 8 different michelin tires and only 1 (can't remember the full name) was just ok and this was some 15 years ago. I'll post another review after driving in rain and snow. So i guess in 2 or 3 months.
Here's some photos of my new tires: Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 in 305/45/22 on stock wheels. No lift or spacers. There was very slight rubbing on each front side which i fixed with a zip ties. Easy fix. So far only about 800miles on these tires (only dry - we didn't have any rain here in NY for...

Updating computer for bigger tires so the gear shifting is correct - never heard of that. Where would i do that, dealer? I've heard about updating speedometer so the speed i am driving is correct. I know i am driving a bit faster than actual speed (I plan on adjusting that)... Did you adjust...
Hi Ram-a-Kin, So i bought the 305/45/22 tires (Michelin Defenders 2) got them installed on the OEM 22" rims. Tires ride nice (similar to stock) maybe a bit softer. BUT no one here mentioned that acceleration is slower and breaking requires more pedal press, breaking feel is not as good as it was...
I was looking for this info... thank you very much. (PS - I just put new tires on my 22" rims. I went with 305/45/R22 but it feels a bit heavy, truck acceleration and breaking is a bit slower, not by much but it is noticeable). I bothers me a little. I think I will go down to 20" rim with...
Hey Blizzak 454 - your tires look good. Are they wide enough for that 22" rims? Is there any curb rush protection? I had 285/45 R22 Pirellis (stock) and just bought new Michelin defenders LTX ms2 in 305/45 R22 (original rims). I like how they stick out pass the rim 1", I don't have to be careful...
