My 16' Laramie Dually Cummins 6.7 pulling a 40 ft toyhauler. This pic is at the dealer when we picked it up. Immediately installed airbags when we got back home. Also added a 40 gallon gravity fed aux tank for the long hauls, Made it almost to Texas from So. IN. with one fill up of both tanks...
Had my son come over to help swap out the batteries. Connected a Noco jump pack to to the leads to keep the settings. Pulled the old battery, then the plastic block to make room for the H8. Put in the new battery, then reconnected the leads. Must have at some point accidentally lost connection...
I guess I neglected to detail that the guy there said their "Reference Book" was an old outdated one and he was only going by what it said was applicable. His reply was rude when I asked him to explain to me why they couldn't/wouldn't install it.
Bought the battery I listed at wally world and they refused to install it. I asked why and the guy said that in their "outdated" book it wouldn't work and with all the cameras watching the installers they could be sued. I asked what was the reason they couldn't install it, and he couldn't tell...
Looking to replace what seems to be a original battery in my 19' Limited and saw where people say it's possible if you remove a section of the tray.
Does anyone have a picture or video of what exactly needs to come out to allow the H* Group battery? I'm thinking of this battery: Robot or human...
