Wow. This certainly went way off the rails fairly easily. Rest assured I'm not about to try the 4hi on freeway 'test'. I was hoping to learn something from all the Ram folks here but I seem to have created a forum for bickering over nothing. A passionate bunch we all seem to be. Ok. Moving...
I hear you on all these areas to investigate and I can tell you I've already gone down this list prior to posting here. All other components are in working order. No brake sticking or caliper issues. Truck has 59k miles on it so some of these issues really shouldn't be present at this stage...
Thank you for all the input folks. Yeah I might have explained better with the original post. This continues to happen every time I turn right at any significant speed. Always on the freeway at 60-70 mph. And here in Columbus there are plenty of sharper turns on 315 or 270 or 71. And everyone is...
Lol
Yeah I have to agree. I didn't consider the 3.5" lift and 35's to be radically modified either. If I had my way I certainly would've jacked it up much more and added many more modifications but I use the truck for work and I have to remain somewhat practical.
I've heard a lot of talk about...
I feel compelled to add that I'm not some city boy buys his first 4x truck kinda guy. I grew up on 2000 acres in the hills of Northern California and I've been driving 4x4 trucks since I was 12 yrs old. Manual tranny and no bells and whistles. Here I am living in the city at 52 yrs old and no...
This is happening with fairly non aggressive driving mind you. Normal turns on the freeway at 65-70 mph. A lot slower than most of the people passing me obviously. And when one front wheel randomly brakes it pulls to that side rather dramatically. Now I'm aware of the potential for this to...
On the 2020 Ram 1500 there's no way to turn off the ESC other than pulling the fuse. But that controls the ABS and various other systems that aren't having issues.
In response to having this all recalibrated .... where would I go to get that done ? My local mechanic said he doesn't know...
Had tires rotated yesterday. 35" tires and a 3.5" lift on the truck. Anyway while on the freeway going into a banked turn at high speed as usual the ESC activated and applied brake to the right wheel which jerked the truck hard right into the other lane. Nobody was in the lane and I was able to...
Reviving an old post I know. But your pics and your clunking issue is identical to mine so I'm curious if the issue was resolved for you and if it had anything to do with what's in the pics ??? Because I've had one shop look at it so far and they can't figure it out but my control arm...
