I was hesitant to post about this situation. But I, too, suffer from CRAP. (Chronic Ram Arm Pinch). It’s embarrassing, (my wife says pigeons would have learned not to rest there by now. ). It’s unsightly (I have little bruises on the inside of my left arm), and very dangerous; I smacked...
I've had a '19 Laramie and recently switched to a '21 Limited. The differences for me came down to features. I loved my Laramie and it was trouble free for 92000 miles til I sold to my own sister. The Limited has all the stuff I wish my Laramie had, but I'm already experiencing issues with...
I've had that happen with mine a few times, as has anyone else whose tried to use it. I just use a firm palm to the upper corner to assure a good close. It took me some getting used to the sense that it is somehow flimsy, especially compared to my old non-MFT tailgate. However, when folded...
Good thread. I can see using 4 Auto more regularly now when I know I'm going to need that quick acceleration in situations that will especially challenge traction. I installed the Helwig 7709 anti-sway bar a few weeks ago and found that the inside rear wheel lost traction a lot more easily in...
1C6SRFHT0MN511093. Window sticker said ORG, too, I believe. It certainly could have been messed with by the original owner (I bought mine CPO from a dealer). I didn't take pics but the measurements on normal are: LF: 20.7, RF:21.3, LR: 23, RR: 23.5. I never measured pre-repair job but can...
So going out this beautiful Saturday AM to measure my truck's height at each corner at different stated heights, here is what I found: Starting at OR2 and measuring each corner from the center of the wheel to the center point of the bottom of the wheel well, there was uniform lowering...
Great guidance. What I don't understand is what would happen if I were to put in OEM links back on (They are quite easy to pop on and off standing next to the truck). Because when I watch the installation video from Revel, it seems to imply that there is no need to readjust any settings or...
OK. That was almost too easy to pop those links off! And they'll stay there when I pop 'em back on? seems sketch. I don't understand how, if I put the links back to original, how do I get the level back without the compromise to the ride quality. It was fine before and I don't think either...
I would love to do that but would require a mechanic to work with me on performing the actual experiment. (Unless removing the links and replacing them is relatively easy without a lift). Its also Certified Pre-Owned, so it was sold to me by a Ram dealer (1000 miles from where I live) and the...
Yes. I think you’re on the right track with aftermarket links essentially confusing the system and needing to experiment. However, finding a mechanic with the expertise and willingness to work with me on this has been elusive.
So even if I confirm that the links are aftermarket and they level the truck, how would I/They adjust the truck's settings/sensors to ride normally again?
Here's another link from a while ago that includes some pics of the links and some prior suspension/Tire/Wheel issues with this truck:

Yes, Aero on the freeway (and even around town sometimes) is normally just fine. Would an aftermarket level/links confuse the system and have it compensate to the wrong levels? I'll take some measurements on level ground and post asap. Thanks for the reply! (BTW: What's "aad?"
