2022 Limited Night Edition, aka the Blue Beast

i just saw someone post a star report for this in another thread. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/2022-1500-wind-noise.41519/post-614109 i had a similar noise when new last month but it seemed to go away when i installed my Vent visors... maybe.

I went into the local dealer two days ago with my 2000 mile 2022 Limited that i bought through Mark Dodge. i had a list of nit picky items that i asked them to remedy. I'd say all but one was nit picky and i didn't feel one bit bad about asking them to fix them because FCA is paying them to do...

i had the whistle when my truck was brand new... traded in a 2020 limited for my 2022 limited, so i was comparing apples to apples.... on my 1000 mile drive home from Mark Dodge, it drove me nuts. I put my Vent Visors on a week later and i don't hear the noise anymore.... it definitely helped...

Unless there is a tooling change.... any talk of a facelift?

Today I picked the Blue Beast up after having it tinted, Ceramic Coated and PPF the front end, mirrors, door handles and door sills. Then I topped it all off by installing my Patriot Blue bumper plugs from @Acogs91 I also picked up some new 3M tape to re-install my AVS Vent Shades.

Last I checked, the military discount ($500) only applied to active or recently separated members. They would not honor it for me on my last two trucks because i separated in 02.

Also, try different browsers... i never got the popup on chrome... but when i switched to Safari i got it pretty quickly.... not sure if it is still going on, as this was a few weeks ago.

Ram Chat told me my truck would be delivered between 2/25 and 3/7. When i followed up with MD a couple of days later, they said it had already landed in the Port Allen Rail Yard. And it landed at MD 2 days after that. so not a whole lotta heads up, but enough.... i would keep pinging your...

....And for anyone waiting to pick up your sold order at MD.... they've got several truckloads.... CJ said they had 8 car carriers unload on Tuesday, day before we arrived.

Picked up my truck from MD yesterday. We took a 900+ mile road trip there, then stopped in Mandeville on the way back east to see family. I can't say enough about how awesome MD made this experience. I was in and out of the dealer in 40 minutes, which included unloading all my junk from my 2020...

Just after reading the contract. There are a lot of things included that I already have access to at a much lower premium, like towing, rental cars, etc. The list of things not included also starts to become confounding. Water leaks aren't covered... one of the most common concerns with this gen...
