One of the main PCM’s is located right under the dash on the drivers side. Since applying tint needs a lot of fluid, that is then squeegeed out, there is a high risk of water getting into this PCM if proper precautions aren’t taken. Some tint shops won’t do front windshields at all.

It actually happened yesterday, but I paid off my truck. Between the stimies and a large tax return + savings, we had enough to pay it off and still keep a proper e-fund.
Didn’t like taking out the loan last year, but paying it off in 14 months was a good feeling.

I used Testors Satin Black enamel paint on my night edition wheels, but the black edition on the Limited is more glossy. Make sure you have mineral spirits so you can remove it before it dries if you don’t like the match. Prep the area with fine sand paper, 600 grit or so, just to remove the...
I know this is off topic but please don’t be disappointed, as this is not Ram’s fault. LATCH has been a requirement in all passenger vehicles less than 8500 lbs since 2001. They put them in there because they had to.

Yeah, I corrected myself earlier, so I would definitely agree with you. I just assumed that the night edition and black appearance were the same type of paint. Just have some mineral spirits handy so you can wipe it off if you don’t like the match.

Mines the Laramie Night Edition, and it calls out satin finish wheels. I see yours call out gloss wheels on the spec sheet, so you might want to go with the 1147 black gloss instead. If you don’t have mineral spirits, get a small tin so you can wipe it off before it dries if you don’t like the...
The paint your looking for is Testors 1139 Semi Gloss Black. Here is some pics of the label and a close up of the wheel where I painted it and a slightly farther away. Up close you can see it because I didn’t sand down the marks, but I have a hard time finding it from a distance anymore...
I did the same thing. Testors Satin Black Enamel hobby paint is a perfect match. I got it for like $1.50 at menards. Since it’s enamel it’s waterproof. I can send a pic tomorrow when it’s light outside.
Edit: The satin black is a perfect match for the Night Edition Wheels. The gloss black is...
I’ve found it’s only difficult to remove when the panels are hot or it’s in the sun. I also only use about a pinky nail sized amount and only let it flash about a minute before wiping it off.

I installed it late Friday, and only did a little driving on Saturday so I don’t have much time with it yet. I’m still working out the settings on the app but it was pretty easy to setup. Picture looks good from my phone, but I’d be more interested in seeing the quality from my computer.

I installed a Thinkware Q800 front and rear on Friday. Took me about 2 hours to run, hide and secure everything, but I’m very pleased with the results. I did take off the a-pillar cover to run the wires behind the airbag and wired in with some fuse taps.

Thanks! I had it on my old car sitting behind the truck and I didn’t realize how much difference it makes especially when you are driving when the sun is just above the horizon.
