I test drove a Laramie with air suspension and really liked it. It was one option I really wanted. The Laramie I ultimately bought didn’t have it. I’ve been pleasantly pleased with how comfortable it is on all drives.
The more I researched the air suspension, I’m somewhat glad I didn’t get it...
The MFT does limit your options for a tonneau cover. When I was researching, I found several threads.
I considered the Bakflip, but ultimately went with Diamondback SE. More expensive, but also more durable. I can carry stuff on top as well. Also, it didn’t require replacing the front triangle...
When AS/S bothers me, I just press the button to turn it off. Such a simple solution. Ram even put the button in a convenient position so it’s simple to press the starter button to start the truck and then press the AS/S off button.
This is great. Thanks for sharing.
The 360 camera system is the only option missing on my 2026 that I really wanted. Having a 360 camera system is definitely the best, but I was starting to look into just adding the front camera. I have that (and surround view) on another car and it’s immensely...
FitCamX are nice for their OEM look, but performance is lackluster across multiple auto brands. I’ve read several reviews where people have had problems with the camera working. I did consider FitCamX when I was looking at dash cams for all my vehicles, but ultimately the average reviews made me...
Reviving an old thread. I’m seeing a somewhat similar issue with my 2026 Laramie.
I have the memory package on this truck and both driver and passenger mirrors can be activated to tilt down when reversing. I actually find this helpful. The mirrors do return when I take it out of reverse. But at...
Either your hearing is bad, or you’re listening to very biased people who only like the Hemi. The Hurricane engine was used for years by Jeep so many bugs worked out before it got to Ram. The 2026 is the second year with this engine in the 1500, so first year software/wiring harness issues are...
I considered other ones that were less expensive, but ultimately none met exactly what I was looking for, especially longevity. I figured better to spend $2,000 now for something that should last 10 years or more vs. spending $1,200 every 3 - 5 years for something else. But yes, it is investment...
I installed a Diamondback SE tonneau cover yesterday. It’s a pricey cover, but the build is excellent. It was surprisingly easy to do the install just by myself.
I’m familiar with both of these and considered them, however, they don’t provide constant power when the truck is off for parking mode.
I’m parking the truck outside now, so I want parking mode. The Thinkware uses very low power for its radar to detect movement and then start recording.
My...
Does anyone have the correct fuse locations for hardwire with parking mode on a 2026? I’m installing a Thinkware U3000 Pro and decided to hardwire instead of using the supplied OBD power cable.
