Yeah, I think I would and obviously it is easy to remove and put back on, so better safe than sorry...

Love this.... is it something you need to remember to remove before taking your truck to the dealer for any type of work as far as warranty stuff goes? It would seem ridiculous, but always want to know to be safe.
