Alright thanks for the replies, I'm sure you're right. At least I got good at removing and reinstalling the starter if it ever does go bad lmao.
For now I'll assume the battery was the issue and just keep a jumper on me in case
That was my thought, but is there any case where a battery would test fine, according to AutoZone, and still be bad? I got lucky this time being stranded at home but I'm trying to prevent it happening again elsewhere
Autozone just tested the battery and said it was good. She used a smaller handheld tester of some kind, not sure if it was only testing voltage or if it tests load or whatever else.

True, but the battery is one year old to the day. March 21st last year, funny enough. I just figured it would at least make an attempt to turn over like every other vehicle I've ever had, with how bright the lights all were.
