Yeah you would certainly think so. It's insane that you can buy a truck in 2019 and not have heated mirrors, especially for what these trucks cost. Has anybody found a way to add heated mirrors? I've been meaning to contact OBDGenie to see if they could add the sales code, but haven't yet.

Well the estimated ship date of 3/11 has come and gone. New ship date... 3/25!! So not only am I still paying my truck payment, I'm also paying for a rental car at $250/week, all because this stupid headlight is on backorder? I highly doubt this "backorder" is affecting the assembly line, so...

So I hit a deer on 1/12. The body shop ordered replacement headlights on 1/15. As of today, the local dealer called the body shop doing the repair and was given an estimated ship date of 3/11. This is also the 4th different date they have received. Is anybody else experiencing this?

OK thank you. I've emailed them twice so far with an attempt to confirm and have yet to get a response. I'm going to call them soon to confirm from them before I shell out the money to purchase the modules, door switch, and mirrors. But thanks for your time and help!!

KJN86, Are you sure that the ODB Genie can add the code for heat? I'm also looking to add the heat feature, but I'm also looking to buy the smaller/heated/power folding mirrors. Buying mirrors that can heat resolves one problem, but the truck still has to be smart enough to apply power when...

My existing mirrors are the tow mirrors w/o heat or power fold. If I purchased new mirrors with heat and fold, the necessary controllers and door switch, would I then just need to flash the code? And if so, how would I go about that? I'm thinking that replacing the mirrors is a better option...

Has anybody had any luck converting a truck without heated mirrors to a truck with heated mirrors? My truck has the rear window defrost so the button is on the dash, but I'd like to swap out the non-heated tow mirrors with the smaller heated tow mirrors. Does anybody know if that's even possible?
