The OBDlink MX+ and the autel 12/8 cable came in late yesterday. Will buy and download AlphaOBD after work today.

Well for the price, I will try the AlphaOBD. I see on their compatability list they recommend using the OBDlink MX+. Would I also need the 12+8 security bypass harness as well? Their list does not mention it, just the OBDlink MX+.

Maybe get a tire lift. Just like using a pry bar to lift tire. Has rollers so you can spin the tire to align with wheel studs.
