Correct, you have to turn it on in jscan. I bought the fob with remote start and remote lift gate. My old fob did not have that. Make sure you match the numbers from your old fob the best that you can. Mine was not exact.- skeen97

Thank you! This worked for my 2023 1500 Bighorn. I was also able to activate remote start. Something that I didn't have before. Still working on getting the remote tailgate to open. But the remote start was a big plus for me. Great tutorial!!! Thank you- skeen97
