Pretty much never worked on my truck. I have gotten it working by hitting it, then hitting setup, then hitting “use this trailer.” The selection light will turn off then come back on in a sec or 2 and then the truck will start the light check sequence. This only works once however. After that...
One thing I would change is that I cut my 1/2 poly line to fit. If I was doing it over again I would just leave it long and coil it. That way I believe I would hold more air when charged. If I need to repair anything I could always cut and splice the longer line. As it is now I keep me excess...
Just got a surprise package from SKT/Vice Design. The updated 2023 Etorque auxbeam mount just showed up at my door. They sent it after refunding my prior order. Amazing service. I don’t have time to mount it this week but I did do a dry fit and it will work perfectly. Thnx very much.
Would love a strut from the front corner down to the shock strut bolt underneath. It would keep the mounting plate from flexing downward when you put pressure on it from the top to plug in an air fitting.
1/2 hose to remote Viair filters in fender well. There is a nice hole to run them through under the AC line. The Viair’s don’t have an easily detached snap on cover. I ended up losing the filter on my ARB ones initially until I swapped them out. I figured cooler air couldn’t hurt. I might even...
I have the latest production version. I also gave some input. I suggested a remote location for the air coupler and manifold near the air box. It’s a great design I just didn’t like the mount flexing downward when I had my air chuck facing upwards. I moved it horizontally and it’s more solid now...
I love mine but I kinda wish he added a leg to the front right side down to the exposed bolt head on the top of the passenger shock strut. It would give the mounting plate a ton more rigidity when you are plugging in a coupler.
Neither of those should be an issue. ARB recommends a manifold but if you call them they will tell you it’s not needed. I used an SDHQ manifold mount for mine. He may have cut the factory harness before the diode. I used the NH Overland trigger wire and ran it direct to my 15 amp auxbeam input...
Already own the ARB and have it installed. Looked at the CO2 systems and honestly for my use it was overkill. Plus I didn’t want to deal with fills and having a big tank in the back of my truck in the FL heat. As long as you have decent access draining an air tank is no problem. You can even...
Kinda what I figured. For the minimal cost of a small tank it’s just tough not to go ahead. Initially I did not want to deal with the maintenance (draining, etc.). After some research I see Viair tank has enough outlets in good locations it wouldn’t be too bad. I will have to fab up a bracket of...
I have an ARB twin in the engine bay with remote filters in the fender well. I am curious about adding a tank. I haven’t had the compressor installed long but don’t wanna regret not adding a tank. I do have the manifold and I used 1/2 DOT poly line so when it charges it fills a good bit but...
Bought an ARB twin onboard air setup. Waiting on my NH engine bay mount and air up kit to install. I also ordered a remote bulkhead mount that I may or may not rig up right away. For now I am going to install an air chuck in the ARB manifold. Once I decide on a location for the bulkhead mount...
