It looks like that in the photos because the seal was off on that side when I opened the box. I had to put the seal back on. But yes, it does seal all the way around.

Thank you! That will save me some time! Why did you take it off? Was it really loud? Not looking for something obnoxiously loud.

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

Honestly I don't know at this time. With the lift and the exhaust in the last week, I'm not willing to fork out much more money into it till about a month or so. But I haven't even started looking. Does anyone know if Mopar makes a kit for this truck? I would like to keep it within Mopar when I...

Yes. its pretty quiet as it is unless you get on it. But vs stock when you get on it... There is a BIG difference. I can only imagine how it will sound when I get some exhaust.

Install done! Took about 45mins to an hour. I took it on a quick test drive and I can say I feel the difference immediately! Also sounds great! My next step is exhaust. Once that's done I'm sure I will be ever more pleassed!

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

My dealer was going to charge me 600 for the install. I ended up doing the install myself. I got the lift off of eBay for 900. So yes that does seem extreme. I was told it was a 4 hour job. If you have another dealer in town, I would give them a ring and compare. Also not a hard job to do...

Do you have a part number already? I can post a part number once I get back to the house later if anyone needs it. I know my dealer had to do some searching to find it.

Mopar’s “Ram Airflow” Cold-Air Intake System For Ram 1500:

$925.00 plus tax. $1001.31 total. I would say a little pricey. But honestly I think it's worth it. When you see the quality of the intake. Let's hope for a good gain in preformance!

Just picked up. Will install a little later or tomorrow and post more pics. I can confirm that they are shipping. I barely ordered mine last week. Even my parts guy was surprised since they say backordered. If you are looking at getting one, I would say just order it and you might be surprised.
