Thank you for those photos. Can I get a photo of the bumper support where our brackets mount from the engine side looking forward. I can't tell what that is from the other angles. Not sure if the Longhorn has something extra there or not.
I am very curious what issue you had and why the bolts were too short. The supplied bolts go through two pieces of 1/8" thick metal and the bolts are 1" in length. I haven't had any reported issues but want to more of the issues you had so we can help others if they run into the same problem. I...
I’m asking because if it was ours we always want to know. We’ve sold over 1,000 of the version you got and have had zero reported issues. That being said, we always want to know. We changed the design of those brackets 6 times in total to get to what we hope is perfection.
We have run ours a ton. We even ran them with the truck at various angles with no parking sensor or light issues...... kind of kidding......but seriously no issues. We have also sold over a thousand of these kits and or brackets with zero issues being reported about the sensors. Early on there...
If you set them too high it will affect the offroad modes. It will also ride harsh. I have never seen them affect Aero mode. We played with them a lot on our Rebel when we had it.
