That's awesome!!! Looks great. We kept making changes to the brackets until we got them as perfect and versatile as we believe they can be. These are version 6.2 if I recall. lol
We had a miscommunication with our laser cutter and overstocked our inventory (by a lot) on all of our brackets we have designed and sell. We need to clear up some space and move some of these so we are running a sale on all of our overstocked brackets and the kits they come in...
Still here. Getting pulled 1,000 different directions so I am not as active on the forum. We have not moved forward with these. We are having to triage our time and not able to get to all of the projects I was hoping to get to.
You can contact Diode Dynamics directly or we can assist if you purchased through us. If you purchased through someone else I may still be able to help but sometimes Diode Dynamics will ask me for the proof of purchase.
Our laser cutter accidentally doubled our material order so we have more materials on hand than we'd prefer. Because of this, we are running a limited time sale until our materials get down to a reasonable amount. We are offering our bare steel and powder coated bracket sets for $100 off...
These will work with the SS3 as is. If you are running a combo lens, the orientation will be off 90 degrees but they will still work. Driving and spot lenses will also work great.
We have built some custom sets. There is flex in the bed especially if you start mounting stuff to the bed sides or offloading hard. The sets that we did all had chips in the paint where the bedside was hitting the tailgate from flex prior to the stiffeners. If there is enough of a need/ desire...
The brackets are still on our site. We had a new website built so old links no longer work. What brackets are you looking for specifically and I will link them here.
Thank you for those photos. Can I get a photo of the bumper support where our brackets mount from the engine side looking forward. I can't tell what that is from the other angles. Not sure if the Longhorn has something extra there or not.
I am very curious what issue you had and why the bolts were too short. The supplied bolts go through two pieces of 1/8" thick metal and the bolts are 1" in length. I haven't had any reported issues but want to more of the issues you had so we can help others if they run into the same problem. I...
I’m asking because if it was ours we always want to know. We’ve sold over 1,000 of the version you got and have had zero reported issues. That being said, we always want to know. We changed the design of those brackets 6 times in total to get to what we hope is perfection.
