Module under rear panel failed, car won't start, window leak

After almost 3 weeks I got my truck back. The good news, RAM covered everything (actually paid $55). They replaced and module itself and removed and resealed the window. They said there is an active recall for the rear window leak which is why it was covered. Hope this helps anyone else out with...

Module under rear panel failed, car won't start, window leak

Wild... Talk about something the customer has absolutely no control over. I'll update this when my rep gets back to me..he seems to think they may cover it but he probably has no idea.

Mind elaborating? Did you have this issue? What was the cost to fix?

Module under rear panel failed, car won't start, window leak

Hello, Had to tow my truck to the dealer due to this issue that is supposedly common. I'm hoping someone could post me to a master thread on this topic. Truck is ~4 months out of the 3 year/30k bumper to bumper warranty. Has anyone had success with Ram still covering this? Why hasn't it been...

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

Not yet, was waiting to use my pressure washer on them and have to wait because I just had my truck ceramic done...that is my fear as well. What if this time they scratch a rim or something else happens and it wasn't even necessary.

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

To add one more layer to this, I drove to a reputable tire shop near me and asked their opinion. The guy looked at them, measured all tread depth in multiple areas of all 4 tires and they all read between 10-11/32. He said they're definitely new and that some tires don't come with the nubs...

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

Not sure I agree, RAM dealerships can't legally go rogue to intentionally deceive a customer or sell them used products as new. That's a bit too "conspiracy theory" for me. If you google RAM Michelin Deal the first sponsored image that comes up is the buy 3 get 1 free deal (see below). Also...

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

Posted above I can't imagine it was intentional. Not sure how it happened but they're making it right. I'll be sure to get eyes on the new tires before they put them on. What else can you do, that's life.

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

Here are pics of all 4 tires. Also, I just drove to the dealer and spoke with the service advisor. He agreed with me that these do not look new and is ordering me new tires. Really appreciate everyone's feedback that encouraged me to push back on these being acceptable.

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

Wow this is crazy. Literally purchased brand new from dealer. Can you show me example of the nubs? I am going to demand they order me new tires ASAP.

So what's the consensus, would you have them replace them?

Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

I guess I had an expectation that when I bought tires they would look new and I wouldn't have to scrub them with residue cleaner to make them look new or live with the "blooming".
