I have the S-type on my 2022 Rebel. Everyone in my family thinks it's WAY too loud. Personally, I love it, but it is loud, don't let anyone tell you different. The day I brought it home after the install, I had to run back out to get something from my office I had forgotten. I started it up...
Valid point, love it, lol. I am in fact a combat veteran and do have a significant hearing loss, at certain frequencies it's more pronounced. I kid you not though, I can hear it when the MDS kicks in. Again, it's not overwhelming, not enough to be an issue, this is just my experience, YMMV.
Appreciate the feedback. Perhaps "drone" isn't the correct term? I can definitely hear a difference when the MDS kicks in. It's not loud or obnoxious, but I can definitely hear it, sounds like a Black Hawk from far off (hell, maybe it's just my PTSD, I can hear that **** in my sleep).
I have the S-type in my 2022 Rebel. I went back and forth on this for weeks if not months before making my decision. In the end, it came down to Borla S-type, A-type and AWE. I didn't really consider the the Borla Touring because I was under the impression that it was very similar to stock...
5100's are adjustable to provide recommended right height based on preferred set ups. I've used multiple sets on different 4Runners and there's a significant difference (don't quote me, but I believe it's up 2.5" depending on the settings) in shock length and resultant heights based upon these...
I had these on my Toyota 4Runner. Solid tire, comparable to the BFG KO2's which I've had on multiple vehicles. Very good in dry, rain or snow. The one thing I noticed with the Falken's is the rubber is a softer compound and wears much more quickly than the BFG's. YMMV.
Same thing happened to me, ordered a 2022 Ram Rebel level B (Level 2 option wasn't even available). I was told it would have PFM as I requested this specifically. Picked up the truck and low and behold, no PFM? Truck has literally every other option including HK with the 12" screen, but no PFM?!
Does anyone know if there are any dealerships in the Midwest that offer similar pricing to MD? I live in Wisconsin and the thought of driving or transporting a new vehicle from the gulf to the "Frozen Tundra" has me more than a little anxious?! :)
