There really aren't any problems with my current truck, except that stuff breaks as you would expect on a 10 year old vehicle. My reason for upgrading is that in November I'll be moving to a new home with very limited driveway and garage space. I currently have the F150 as my work truck and a...
I'm bummed because I know that I need a 2500 but I don't really want a 2500. I dont want the higher ride height, bigger turning radius, worse gas mileage or smaller rear cabin area. But those are all preferable to be overloaded.
Anybody have an opinion on gas mileage while loaded up with...
I just did some math and I think a 1500 with a cap, decked drawers, cargo glide and my average load would be about 1700 lbs. I just did a search on a 2026 4x4 Laramie 1500 with crew cab and 6'4" bed and it looks like the payload is about 1600lbs. And that might be for the 5'7" bed. I couldn't...
This will be a tough question for people to answer but I would appreciate any insight.
I have not bought the truck yet so this is planning for the future. I want a 2025 1500, either a Big Horn or Larimie. The truck will be a Crew cab with the longer bed and SO Hurricaine engine. It will have a...
I'm planning to buy a Ram 1500 with either the 5'7" or 6'4" bed. I'm looking for a cap for it. One with flip up doors on each side and a flip up door in back. Under the side doors I need tool shelves The truck will be white and I think I want the cap to be black. I want the cap to look like its...
Thanks. You've helped me ID what I want. Leveled with 285/60R20 tires. I think I would keep the existing rims and try to paint them black. I assume they don't have much resale value - even when brand new. Do you have any experience with painting rims?
I would be happy with the look that you achieved although I dont need the offset. Is the offset just cosmetic or is it necessary when you add the lift and or bigger tires?
And Is that the lift kit you are using, if so is it level or level +1. Thanks
I'm thinking about purchasing a 2026 Big Horn. Something like the one shown below. I've never had a lift kit or run anything besides stock rims/tires on a truck before but I think I would like to do that with this next vehicle. But I don't know where to start so any advice would be appreciated...
It looks like I may need to step up to a Laramie if I want to get the Ram boxes. If you go to the "Build your own" on the Ram site they dont give the Ram box option for the Big Horn but they do for the Laramie. Oddly, I have come across two Big Horns (2025) on dealer lots that supposedly have...
