I was Chevy guy. Learned to drive on a 68 Chevy 1/2 ton with a 6 cylinder and 3 on the tree. Drove Chevys up until around 2000 when i couldn't deal with all the little stuff breaking. After that drove Toyotas until I picked up the RAM a month ago. Was never a Ford guy so didn't even consider...
I had an 03 Tundra with the airbag recall. Th recall was in October 2012. I got rid of the truck in late 2014, 2 years later, and they still didn't have the parts to fix it. Not specific to the Tundra. There were so many cars/trucks recalled for bad airbags the parts availability was virtually...
I'd be concerned about what the obstruction was and any effects of it now being free floating in the tank.
I probably would have used my sewer cam for drains and get a look at what I was dealing with.
The WolfBox G900TriPro doesn't seem to have a voltage monitoring setup for general use. When you are parking mode it will monitor the voltage and shutdown when voltage drops below 12V however parking mode is not available as currently wired. I'll just wait for the harness to arrive and put it...
Started the Wolfbox install only to end in disappointment due to my own stupidity.
Plugged unit in with all the cameras and GPS plugged in. Verified that everything was working.
Removed A pillar covering and ran wires over to A pillar and from there. GPS unit was placed on corner of dash...
I thought my 26 had a similar issue. Locked the truck and went inside, it was dark out. Went outside a bit later like 45 Minutes or so and thought I saw lights on in the cab. Went over to look and sure enough the illuminated borders around the USB ports were on. Figured that was not a good...
I'd question this. I have been using Rain X washer fluid in all my cars/trucks for like 20 years or more. The only vehicle I ever had with a washer fluid indicator light problem was a 09 Chrysler Town and Country. When I pulled the old sensor out it was covered with a gelatin like goop. I...
15 - 17 years ago I used to by Duralast batteries from AutoZone. I had good luck with them back then and got 5 years out of couple of them. I got 6+ years (2010 - 2017) out of Duralast boat battery which is basically unheard of. In the last 6 years, post Covid, they've gone to crap. AutoZone...
My 02 Subaru Outback, you had pull the engine to replace the head gaskets. Those engines were known to blow head gaskets and Subaru did nothing to help you. I ended up doing that job myself. That was the last time I pulled a motor and dropped it back in after repairs.
Sorry to hear this. Does not give me a lot of confidence.
Sometimes you just get a bad one. I've driven a lot of Toyotas over the years however my 03 Tundra had a lot of issues for a Toyota.
That truck couldn't keep a front end in it. Multiple sets of lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and...
I received the order and the first thing I did was crack open the ODB wiring harness. The Wolfbox cable is using 2 pins, pin4 chassis ground and pin 16 12v supply. This should be safe as far as not interfering with any of the networks and computers in the vehicle.
With the tires they put on the Rebel you definitely get some tire noise. It seems more noticeable to me around town than on the highway. Rebel drives more like truck than my 14 Tundra which drives very much like a car.
It's hard to describe the differences between the Hurricane and a V8 driving...
Do a search and you will find a good amount of information on bad batteries and batteries having to be replaced prematurely. You'll also find a fair amount of information on modules not going to sleep etc. and draining the batteries. Some people say if you aren't planning on driving the truck...
