2023 Bighorn with 5.7. Bought new in April of 2024. Currently 10K miles on it.
I was driving at slow speed on the street last weekend and the truck started shaking almost like it was running out of gas. Check engine light flashing. I was down to about 1/4 tank, so filled it up, but didn't help...
Agree with this. Each dealer seems to be a franchise and I've noticed different treatment and levels of service.
My previous F150 - Tried a dealer close to my work. Took it in for a warranty repair. They told me I need to have the rack and pinion repaired and some other work for around $2000...
That does seem to be an issue with Ram. I've had mine for 15 months and been to the dealer twice. Both times they let it set for 3+ days before starting on it. Though as said above, trying a different dealer next time.
Meanwhile my wife had major issues repaired with her Ford Expedition and...
This is a tough one. $3.5K is a lot, but honestly reasonable for a 5yo vehicle. How many miles do you have on it? I'd assume mileage is higher if you're using it for work.
I'd discuss with the service tech and manager: If you pay the $3.5K, and it's not fixed, do you get your money back? Also...
My go-to cup. I've always been a dog person. This is my boxer mug.
My wife and I recently discussed that our goal for vacations is to get a coffee mug for each place we visit. I'll get a shot of what we have so far (not much). Hoping to get some more this summer.
Understandable that someone wouldn't want to bash a $100K Jeep on the rocks. Plus, figure a Gladiator isn't what you want to buy for hard rock crawling, just too long. Better as an expedition vehicle.
I went to their website to see what the lowest price build is with a 392: $100K for a Sport (no lockers, standard TC).
Before I bought the Ram, I was thinking of getting a Mojave instead. Figured the Ram is a better DD and can tow my Jeep. Comes with the 5.7 and better MPG than the Mojave.
Mine was a left over '23 Big Horn that I bought new about a year ago. I paid $49K. KBB private party high value is $42.8K with currently 8800 miles.
Bottom line, it is what it is. Since I have a short commute, I'm hoping to have it for 10 years at least. So no real complaints from me. At the...
I would ask your dealer. There have been rumors of them bringing back the Hemi for Big Horn and lower this summer. So not sure if that will be for '25 still, or if that will be when '26 orders start.
Though keep in mind to never trust a salesman though. Common answer to 'when is the cut off to...
I haven't compared. Though generally speaking, springs have very little to do with ride quality. Shocks are what controls ride quality. Springs are just for height.
*Unless you're comparing worn out, sagging springs. Or heavy duty springs for towing.
As long as your shocks can tolerate 1" less...
