My 2019 Laramie with the HK was very bass heavy. My 2024 Laramie is way more balanced and not so bass heavy. Not sure why, but I am very satisfied. My 2014 with the Alpine, was not as good as my current truck. None of them compare to the Wifes Volvo with the Bowers And Wilkins.
As am I. I may try building a new box for the stock subwoofer as its a fairly easy thing to do. It might help, it might not. I am sure it will cut down on the resonating. There is plenty of room behind the rear seat to make a better box for the oem sub. The frequencies going to the sub...
Your using the factory amp still? You replaced the 6 ohm stock sub with a 2 ohm infinity sub? What was the issue with the 10" not fitting, was it the adjustable ring to big?

I replaced the idler pulley and that seems to have eliminated the squeal. I have the tensioner pulley and a new belt to put on as well, but the idler pulley did the trick for me. I think both pulleys are like 30 bucks from rock auto. It wasnt worth bringing the truck in to the dealership for...
So far I have replaced the idler pulley and my squeal is gone, although its 24 degrees and not -5. I have the tensioner pulley to replace as well, just havent gotten to it yet. As a reference, I bought the Gates pulleys from rock auto instead of OEM #38018 and #36313
