The few changes they made look horrible. The wheels are hideous and cheap looking. For many of us that drive these trucks as daily drivers and don't really need a truck, looks go a long way in what truck I like. I have been saying this for awhile, but Ram needs to come out with more...
I'm not bashing any of the trucks. Read through the thread and you decide who is making all the childish claims here. I've had the 3.92's and a truck with the 3.21's. Nothing wrong with either. But with the 8 speed transmission, you have enough gears where having 3.92's is not the advantage...
Well, really the whole comparison is a joke to begin with. But I guess in the "must have 3.92's" world, the Rebel is now a girls truck since it couldn't out perform a Longhorn with 3.21's.
Copied and pasted from another post on a related thread:
I got this from another older thread on this forum. Basically the results of MotorTrend's pickup of the year for 2019 where they had 2 Ram 1500 hemi's with e-torque. One was a Rebel which comes with the 3.92's and a Longhorn with 3.21's...
I was kind of curious about the same thing. Wondering how he got to the $10k dealer discount. On their website, I see dealer discount on Laramie's listed around the $7500 mark, give or take a little.
Yup. I had a BlackFoot as a kid. A few years back, they re-released the original kits so I picked up a couple. I love the old school Tamiya trucks. Also have a decent collection of new RC cars that get used, the Tamiya's just hang out in my basement.
Thanks BowDown. My whole point is that there is a correlation between driving habits and distance to empty. Even is someone doesn't want to directly link them together, they are still linked indirectly since driving habits will have an effect on how much gas is used which is a main factor in...
And just for arguments sake, I am referring to the first definition and I related a regular tendency or practice to the way someone drives. Maybe you are looking at and using the second definition which is something a nun would wear. Maybe that's where all the confusion is coming from...
And this statement is just ridiculous since the way you drive would effect how much gas your truck would use. How do you not get that aggressive style of driving uses more gas to get from point A to point B, than someone who is easier on the peddle? It's like you need to be schooled on every...
I implied, because THEY ARE RELATED! What don't you get, that the way you drive will reflect into your recent driving history. Driving history is not just point A to point B. It takes into account many factors. And I know what habit is, and under different conditions a person has different...
What I said was 100% correct. But you want to play semantics. Your recent driving habits are reflected in your recent driving history by default. There is no way around it. You can play word games all you want. Even myself, driving on the highway, making the same trip you make, we can end...
This place is not so bad, but nothing wrong with an occasional back and forth discussion. But overall, I have no complaints with my MPG or miles to empty. Having the larger gas tank is almost a must have feature for me. It's hard to move on to another truck now if it comes with a smaller gas...
