    Drivers side tailpipe hanger replacement

My passenger side was corroded to the point where it turned into a 2 piece. I ended up welding up a replacement that bolted into the stock position out of steel and gave it a coat of krylon. Im sure the driver will be next. Gotta love the salty roads here in the inter in NY

Looking to go from Ranger to Ram 1500 with winter driving being the reason. Which trim?

I live in Syracuse, I have had a 4th gen big horn 4x4 and now have a 5th gen Laramie 4x4 and the biggest thing on both trucks minus the 4 wheel drive is a true winter tire. I drive 100 miles a day for work so I see my fair share of snow driving. On my 4th gen I had General Grabber Arctic and...

Cylinder 3 Misfire after Washing Truck with very rough idling.

My truck would seem to idle normal at startup but after it warmed up it would idle rough, you could definitely notice it in neutral but it wasn't as noticeable when in gear and stopped at a light. My check engine light was constant on the dash (P0302 CYL 2 Misfire). After I changed the sensor...

Cylinder 3 Misfire after Washing Truck with very rough idling.

What kind of air cleaner? Stock, aftermarket oiled? I had a similar issue on my truck (except is was cyl 2) I bought 2 new plugs, swapped the coil packs from cyl 2/4 but still had the cyl 2 misfire and a sometimes rough idle. I have a AFE cold air intake with oiled filter and I found the IAC...

Just started to get Service Rear axle lock & service 4wd error message

The last few weeks I started to get a service rear axle lock and service 4wd error message. It only comes on when coming to a stop when the truck is up to temp. As son as you accelerate the error message goes away. and the rear axle lock and 4x4 functions correctly. I scheduled a service...

    Service axle locker

Lets revive this one, Today I had this error come up on my truck twice. Both times when braking and coming to a complete stop. The message instantly goes out and I have engaged the rear axle lock and it still works. 2020 Ram 5.7 1500 4x4 with 76k

    8HP75 Transmission Service

That's pretty interesting in the difference in shifts between the 2 different leveling procedures. I did mine with the pan leveled....When doing it the instructions stated to level the pan but in my head I thought to myself if someone did this on a lift it would just have the frame leveled. I...

    Transmission fluid change?!

I only did that on the initial fill, Once it was running and up to temp I had to manually hold the filler neck inside the fill hole and add the fluid while keeping the hose away from the exhaust

    B&M 70395 8HP75 transmission pan DID NOT FIT my 2020 ram 5.7

3/1/25 Update, Installed the PPE pan today.... went much smoother than my original try LOL. The install was a breeze because I already had everything apart and knew what to expect. A few notes... Order a new pan gasket, Instructions say to reuse the old one but I felt better using a new one...

My PPE transmission pan: the good, the bad, and the ugly.

That makes sense, If they wont sit perfectly flush the gasket wont be compressed enough. I wont be installing them into my pan
