Mine did it in January, it was a loose nut on the positive terminal of the starter. Technician said he’s seen a few and that they are not torqued down properly from the factory.
Anytime I try to start my truck with the hood open on a good day, it won’t. It’s a safety feature incase your friend happens to be laying underneath your truck with his hand around the crankshaft pulley and you happen to start it, when all he said was.. just farted. I can see the need for a...
Must be 🙄let’s remember it was built in Michigan for Canada. There’s a button/switch that is activated when the hood is raised and it protrudes upwards just left of the hood latch. Can’t take a picture of it because I don’t have my truck right now. 🤬
Thing is, the hood in the open position prevents engine start up, safety feature. So I wasn’t gonna start explaining that in a language I couldn’t speak.
Soooooo FN pissed from a simple dead battery to a cluster fu€k of a situation. Not a scratch or even car wash swirls on the body because I hand wash the truck, and this idiot started my new year.
My truck just turned past 2 years old and guess what? Yup, battery gone. Best part is, I called roadside assistance and got an incompetent flat bed driver that was gonna boast my etourqe until I stopped him asking if he’s ever boasted one, he said no. So he winched my truck onto his flat deck...
My last ram 1500 4x4 was an 05’ just sold it last year with just over 500,000 km on her, powertrain was running perfectly smooth. The transmission and transfer case fluids were still from factory. That tells you something, I did have a transmission cooler from factory as it was part of a tow...
You’ll have to get the dealership to do a hard charge on the battery. It happened to me in the spring, keep showing battery low and my etorque would not function. Now, I did sit in the truck with accessories on listening to the radio for about 25-30 minutes a day or two before my battery trouble...
I have the IGLA, no need for anything else. I enabled hijack mode so after I’ve entered my sequence of buttons and start driving, if I’m sitting at a red light and someone carjacks me, once my driver door opens and closes they have about 300 yards of driving until the truck shuts down.
Couldn’t tell you much on the preference because my mileage is only 41,000 km but I know from past experience that it sounds like a wheel bearing, does the noise change when you are driving and turn the steering wheel from left to right? If the noise happens when you turn to the right it’s your...
