I’ve purchased those caps to plug the square bed box holes on the top above the lights. Water gets in there when they’re uncovered and the tail light harness is exposed.
Mine did it in January, it was a loose nut on the positive terminal of the starter. Technician said he’s seen a few and that they are not torqued down properly from the factory.

Must be 🙄let’s remember it was built in Michigan for Canada. There’s a button/switch that is activated when the hood is raised and it protrudes upwards just left of the hood latch. Can’t take a picture of it because I don’t have my truck right now. 🤬
Thing is, the hood in the open position prevents engine start up, safety feature. So I wasn’t gonna start explaining that in a language I couldn’t speak.
