    Thoughts on this headlight tint?

It looks a lot better outside in the daylight IMO. I think I may roll with it for now and try a different film later in the future.

    Thoughts on this headlight tint?

Well, these were cut out on my plotter using the Xpel DAP software, no excess to trim off here. If there was excess, it's vert easy to trim without going all the way through the film and cutting the light/paint. Took a lot of practice when I initially started doing PPF on some metal scrap...

    Thoughts on this headlight tint?

Yeah, that was my whole reason for asking. I felt it looked purplish too. This was the darkest smoked PPF Xpel had. I may give it a few days and see what I think. With the lights on it looks better, no purplish tint. I think it's just the white background that makes it look that way.

    Thoughts on this headlight tint?

I wanted to black out the white daytime lights on my headlights without compromising the output of the actual headlights. Since it has the black housings I thought I'd just try modifying the headlight kit to remove that area and plot it out in tinted PPF (25%). Thoughts?

Just finished doing a full PPF wrap on my new '24 Laramie Night Edition :)

Some shop build pics. 24' x 40' with a 16'x14' mechanical/bath room off the back corner. Floor glows in the dark :) Room off the back is plumbed for a half bath, laundry basin, and a washer/dryer hook-up. ****ter is in for now but lots of work to do yet.

My wife and I built the garage addition mostly ourselves starting in 2016. I do detailing/PPF on the side and the "R" is my business logo for Rasky's Auto Detailing. :) When I was still writing articles for the Detailed Image Ask-A-Pro blog I started a multi-part write up on the build...

That's the retail cost. If he has a friend with the software/plotter it will cost a lot less and they can pick and chose items out of the kits too.

You'll waste a lot of film by bulking. The hood is pretty difficult and the lower body line is hard not to get moisture trapped in the grove. A lot of installers will just seam it with the rocker kit, especially on darker colors to avoid this. I did the doors in one piece but seamed the fenders...

I used different roll widths to minimize waste and it's easier to handle smaller widths being a one man show. Are you planning to bulk it or do you have a plotter? I can look in DAP when I get home for lunch and see what the total area of film is.

Hard to say as I used from from 4 different rolls. I could add the sq ft used in the software for everything but I'm lazy. ;) I'd guess in the $1200-1400 range though. The hood was bulk installed with vents removed. Everything else was modified kits to wrap edges wherever possible.

Thanks! It's a clear PPF (Paint Protection Film) wrap, not a vinyl color change. ;)

    Red, flame red

I feel ya. I just stepped into my 4th Ram. I looked at some other trucks, specifically mid-size, but I just keep coming back to the Ram for the ride, interior, and space/storage. Plus they still look great! :)
