That's exactly what I just did...Amazon will deliver by Sep 10 (maybe)...if not the item has free return. Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes. I really don't like the idea of hard wiring something into the wiring harness. If the light bar goes bad.... :-/

What year is yours? In my mind the only wire I should have to connect (others than the 4 pin already on the light bar) is the reverse

My guess…and it’s only a guess is that it registers as a trailer and you are towing when plugged into the 7 pin.

Ok…thanks for the advice folks. This is what opt-7 had to say. (Short version- the 7 pin plug and play adapter won’t work. Looks like a hard wire job coming up.

Only problem with that is the trailer the existing plug on the light bar is too short. I'm not quite sure what you mean they plug and play trailering wiring behing the bumper but that sure sounds like a better option than t taps or soldering into the actual tail light wiring. Could you help...
