I ground and sanded the OD. Now it fits. I also ordered a thin wall socket that is 1.14”OD. Let you know how that fits or not.

I have the same issue on my 2023 eco diesel and they are factory rims and factory plastic rim covers from Ram not aftermarket. I believe the plastic covers also have a double sided 3M tape on the spokes so pulling/forcing them off can ruin them. I have found a thin walled 7/8" socket fits...

So a 275/65/18 tire will work/fit fine on the steel temporary rim?

Hi all ! I just bought a 2023 ecodiesel 4x4 and looked at my spare that is a 245/70/18 Temporary use only tire. Will a normal tire mount on the steel rim? Temp looks like my hair all thinned out! The other 4 tires are 275/65/18
