500 miles and towing break in

50mph for 500 miles towing seems a little extreme for me. It’s a CYA statement for the company is my guess. I towed a lighter pop up camper that weighs around 3500 lbs for a 200 mile camping trip. I stayed off the expressway and stayed 50 or under most of the time. I went 55 on roads that...

    Poor gas mileage

You guys need to remove the back seat. Upped my mileage 2 mpg. Also, as a side benefit, no more annoying kids in the back seat. Looking at taking the passenger seat out of the front. I heard that even makes the stereo sound better!

The single biggest reason I ordered the Longhorn instead of the Limited......

Was a little too cowboy for me, but I appreciate the craftsmanship. That is spectacular.

REV vs Ramcharger - who would buy a REV?

No but they could go as fast as gas cars/ or faster on the available roads of the day when people talked about gas cars like some are talking about ev now….

REV vs Ramcharger - who would buy a REV?

Doubtful that you will ever get full charges that fast, but 80% charges will be quite fast in the not too distant future. The battery capacity is always the limiting factor…. Obviously harder with trucks that are towing.

REV vs Ramcharger - who would buy a REV?

Charging and battery technology will get better/faster exponentially. For now, I agree that the charger is much more reasonable for towing and general use. It’s a band aid.. For how long.. who knows l. Especially for towing… It will be less necessary as technology grows. A pure...

REV vs Ramcharger - who would buy a REV?

The rev will be better when charging stations are numerous because you won’t have to buy gas, a gas engine, or a generator and put it in a truck. Until then I agree with you, though.

REV vs Ramcharger - who would buy a REV?

Rev will be the better option for anyone when the charging stations are numerous where you drive. Charger will be a band aid till then for most. Will continue to be useful in remote areas. I keep my trucks for 10 years usually. My 22 Laramie should take me to 32 at the least barring any...

    Why Laramie over Big Horn?

I was looking at a limited instead of the Laramie. Now I’m glad I do not have real leather on my dash. I find the pleather on the dash much nicer than the plastic on my 2011.
