My 2024 Ram Laramie Etorque now has 8000 miles and the burning smell happens only when I run the heater. It’s a plastic smell, not coolant which has an entirely different smell. What drives me crazy is the manufacturer has to know about this as do the dealers. I am about to make my first dealer...
I have the same issue and thank god others do as I was going crazy trying to figure it out.
Happens when I have the heater on. Smells like melting plastic as if you ran over a bag that got stuck on the exhaust. Not the case. Definitely coming from inside or through air vents? Popped the...
Don’t have a 2025 mine is a 2024 and have the Ram rubber mats which are pliable and very grippy. I’ve had Whethertech doe many years on many different vehicles. No more! Tried buying them for my previous F150’s and they were hard plastic-eee. Hated them. Bought some for the wife’s 2021 Honda...
Just had the mopar boards installed on my ‘24 Laramie. Love them. Integrates with Uconnect. I can deploy them on my screen for cleaning etc. same price as AMP. I had AMP on two f150’s prior and they were good but I didn’t like that they needed to be plugged into the ODB2 port. Mopar boards are...
Listen bro, do you always speak to people like this? You seem to like offending people from the safety of your computer.
I DID buy local and got $19k off MSRP on a ‘24 Laramie. Now run along and save your rudeness for your neighbor’s which probably love you.
Understood, makes sense. The number one thing people hate most about the car business is the negotiation process. This is why Tesla, Carmax et al are such a popular business model.
People always wondering, “ did I get the best deal” ? When everyone pays the same that goes out the window...
One last comment on ordering a new truck from your store. Someone told me that you require a Non -Refundable $1000 deposit to order a vehicle. don’t know about you, but a lot of things can change in 60-120 days waiting for my truck and wouldn’t be willing to lose a $1000 “if” I had to bail on...
Your original post had your dealer discount and rebates. You didn’t drill down on those rebates until I asked you to do so. So let’s not be so dramatic. I wasn’t attacking you personally. The car business did this to themselves which is why people are so mistrusting of them.
Kind of funny...
Correct, different profit centers but an owner / corporation is still responsible for the overall profit of the store. Also, service departments are a substantial part of repeat business for new car sales. Without sales of new vehicles the dealer wouldn’t exist. Period! Profit is the sum total...
Hmm that’s nice. You’re right, this is a forum for knowledge, exchange of ideas and decorum which you have none of the later.
As such, I also didn’t join this board to be spammed by Auto Dealers crowing and trying to sell me. This is not the place for that in my opinion.
Your too young to know or remember. But people often traveled to Oregon to avoid sales tax. Some of my family members did and it wasn’t based on residency back then. That’s all changed.
We’re not talking about sales tax anyway, it’s all about the “deal” - final selling price before ad-on’s...
Yes, Stellantis overinflated ,,MSRP’s FAR more than other manufacturers as I have mentioned in a prior post and they have started to reduce them in Canada and coming soon to a dealer near you!
And to further expand, there are dealers in Idaho that like you claim to be the “biggest RAM” dealers in the US. I almost bought a truck there a couple of years back because it was a short flight from Northern Ca. UNTIL I found their “Doc fees” were close to $1000 (in Ca there are set at $85...
