I have done some research on here and am trying to figure out an oil leak on my 2019 Ram 1500. It’s got about 68k miles on it now. The drip is between the trans bell housing and the block. It’s not an RMS as the weep hole is dry. It seems to be coming from the top passenger side of the motor and...
Good Experience- Peacock CJDR In Hardeeville, SC
Dan Ward- Service Adviser
Had a water leak, rear Passenger side. Rear window was warped, causing leak. Carpet Damaged. Gave Me a loaner, Sent Pictures to FCA for approval for repair. Completed repair in 2 days. Got the truck back and tried...
Thank you @RamCares. I got Dan Ward, my service advisor at Peacock Ram (Hardeeville, SC)to get it taken care of for me. I had to do some sweet talking to make it happen, but they are ordering my new carpet and will install it when it gets in. Apparently they forgot to plug in the Rear Window...
add me to the list. Rear window leak. Passenger side. Dealer had to replace the rear window. Tried my best to clean and dry the carpet but they still smell. Going back to the dealer as now my rear defroster doesn’t work and hopefully replace the carpet.
Ive seen mine up to 228 with the fans going after being in traffic. No worries. The fans bring it right back down to below 210. I live in the Devil's buttcrack though. Nasty heat and humidity here.
I just got this warning the other day...I was hoping it would resolve itself, but no dice. Mine worked fine and then all of the sudden It didn't. Service scheduled in a couple weeks. At least I can get those recalls taken care of as well. Love my truck though!
I've had it happen once. CarPlay disappeared and I had to turn off the truck, disconnect the phone, restart the truck and the phone and I was good to go. Other than that, No issues. I can make mulitiple calls without issue. I am using an Iphone 8Plus.
So with the open trailer... it was a complete non issue. Dead straight. No pull in from the trucks. I had more weight on the tongue this time. Standard non WDH. No bars. No concerns. Trailer is supposedly 1500 lbs as it’s a 20 ft steel flatbed with a tilt mechanism. Electric Brakes. Averaged...
I averaged 10 mpg towing. 17-19 unloaded. I am 2wd though.
I'm towing the car back with an open trailer today. Should be interesting to see the difference. I'll post pictures later. :)
Strait hitch. No drop hitch. Squat was minimal. However with a 911 (motor and trans in back) I had to keep moving the car forward to get tongue weight. Thanks for the compliment.
Towed for the first time today. I’m really impressed. Trailer is a 24 foot V-nose Featherlite with HD axles. Trailer weighs roughly 2800-3000. 500lbs of gear. One 3300lb Porsche 911 Turbo so let’s just say 7000lbs total. Sway bars on. Straight hitch (no drop). Electric brakes.
Pulled dead...
9000 would be a tall order based on what else you are going to have in the truck, People Etc. Have you read any of the hauling reviews on youtube? I think the trailer they use is 6000-8000 but it is smaller so there would be less wind impact. I will be towing a 26' enclosed race trailer with...
I'm Up to date. As you can see from further posts in this thread @RamCares We are waiting for the next update to rectify the problem. Any update on the release date of that update? Thanks in Advance for your response!
