Auto start did not engage, OBD2 code P2BA3

Thank you for your input. I had considered doing the same thing. We have had some especially cold weather which can affect battery performance. The engine light turned off by itself two days ago, and started working... so I wonder if it was a combo of battery degradation and cold weather.

Auto start did not engage, OBD2 code P2BA3

I found this doing research - This is a belt tensioner TSB. I doubt it would cause issues with hard shifting and the etorque completely ducking out.

Auto start did not engage, OBD2 code P2BA3

Good afternoon everyone. I was hoping someone might have some wisdom on my situation. My truck is a 2020 1500 with etorque. The other day I came to a stop and the auto stop/start engaged, but it did not turn the truck back on normally. When I released my foot from the brake, there was a pause...

Purchase for High Miles '19-'22 Longhorn/Limited

Not to be that guy, but 80k is not high milage. I have a 2020 etorque hemi, no issues. The etorque doesn't seem to be a pain point, however you hear an occasional story. As with everything, milage will vary.

Why aren't there reviews on hands free driving assist?

It seems like there is a relative lack of review videos on the hands free driving on Ram trucks. Is there a reason for this? I wasn't sure if it technically wasn't released yet. As of today when I looked, there is precisely one video of it on YouTube.

    Leak above back window/headliner

Unfortunately I am out of the 3 year warranty. The only potential to get it covered would be if the window was leaking, as they did replace that, and it should be covered for free if that is the source of the leak. The thought was maybe the dealer would have more knowledge than a general body...

    Leak above back window/headliner

I had thrown around the idea of doing something like this. Even though it is a TSB extended warranty item, the dealer won’t replace it for me. I had been tempted to buy an after market one just to see if it would cease the issues, but I’m not wanting to make them worse either. I guess I’m...

    Leak above back window/headliner

I tried using a hose to find the leak tonight. Was not able to get a leak to show up. Do people reccomend going to the dealer for issues like this, or to a body shop since it would be cheaper?

    Leak above back window/headliner

What I’ve found is shark fin, 3rd brake light, and back window frame cracks… as mentioned above, those don’t seem to be causing the issue. I was going to get out the hose to do some testing. Hopefully I can buy a friend to help watch for the leaks.

    Leak above back window/headliner

We have been getting copious amounts of rain as of late and I noticed there is a leak above my back window, also soaking into the headliner. I’m starting to wonder if this is going to become a huge fix. I have already gotten the back window replaced this spring due to the frame cracking issue...

Sunroof shade making noise when opening/closing; cable hanging out

Ha, apparently I’m the only one who has had this issue…

Sunroof shade making noise when opening/closing; cable hanging out

My retractable sunroof shade makes an angry noise when it gets to its last quarter of retraction. Today I noticed that there was a metal cable that was sticking out as well (see picture). Has anyone experienced this, and what did you do to fix it?

Why do they insist on 22” rims on limited?

The limited is their luxury trim... The way I see it is that the limited trim is more of a "pretty thing" rather than a hauler. Don't get me wrong, I love the limited for all it is, including those 22 inch rims, but it definately feels less utilitarian than the lower trims. It is all about the...
