I just did this and it worked great. 2024 Ram 1500 5.7L Tradesman w/ Tow Package. Getting to that CHMSL wire was a bit of a pain, but it was there.

Scooped up a used Leer 122 Friday and got the third brake light wired up today. Granite crystal truck, max steel cap.

Nice job! Tradesman gang 😤 I factory ordered one via Mark Dodge. I believe I was $47k plus tax, $49k all in. I did add the 6'4" box, 33 gallon fuel tank, bed utility package, blind spot, and night edition. One could definitely argue those add-on's ultimately aren't worth the $6,700 more I paid...

I would actually love to do that at some point. Speakers are fine for a basic system, but an upgrade there would be nice.

24 Tradesman. Thinking about tinting the fronts, getting slush mats, and maybe a tonneau cover - otherwise, keeping it mostly stock for a while.
