2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Yes. But the question is: Why? What’s the reason behind that decision?

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

In my truck, turning on the overhead lights does not disable the wireless charging pads. Only having the door open disables them. That is a weird design choice.

I would guess so. Just flipping the latches should work.

These guys. They lock in to the actual tailgate and makes the truck think the tailgate is latched.

It’s the button that overrides the lights if a door is ajar. For me, if the tailgate is open and I press this button, none of the interior lights turn on.

There is a sensor for if the tailgate is open. To get the lights to turn off you just have to click the overhead button that turns off the lights for the doors. It is interesting that having a tailgate open disabled the charging pads. I just verified and it does the same thing on mine. I know...

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

This is how it feels on their customer service side of things. Every single person I’ve dealt with on the customer support side of things has absolutely no power to do anything. Just a bunch of people from India answering phone calls and emails so it SEEMS like they are working for you but they...

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Got the screen fixed and it FEELS like a whole new truck again. I can actually do stuff instead of struggling through trying to change settings with voice control. Almost 6 months to the day to get it fixed. When I mentioned the drivetrain control module the rep had no idea what I was referring...

    2025 Battery Issues

It’s funny you say that because you might be right. I had the battery drain issue thinking it was the drive control module as suggested by a tech on another thread. When I took the truck in they said both batteries were bad and had to be replaced. I said the truck was only 1 year old and their...

    2025 Battery Issues

For what? What are you going to do? Your organization has proven to be completely ineffective at doing anything helpful. I would be happy to air all of your dirty laundry in this thread, but I have already done so in another thread. Feel free to look in my profile.

Quick follow up with my busted screen. Huge shoutout to @AnthonyRI and Joe at Mark Dodge for the assist. Joe called his local Warranty guy in Louisiana and got him to contact the warranty guy here in Vegas and told him to replace my screen with a new one instead of waiting perpetually for a...

    2025 Battery Issues

In a different thread, a service guy informed me that it’s the drive control module that needs to be replaced. I have had the battery die a half dozen times over the 10 months I’ve had the truck. 2 of those times I was sitting in the truck and the truck was only off for about 15 minutes but the...

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

So I spoke to the dealer and they confirmed a new screen is available but would not order it for me as a warranty replacement. Like you said, you’re supposed to order the reman unit. I pleaded with them that this should be an extenuating circumstance since there is no eta for the reman part and...

2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

How do you go about testing for this to be proven to be faulty? Is it as simple as just saying my batteries keep going dead and they should know that is what the problem is.?

They definitely take some getting used to. I have to be much more vigilant when making turns at intersections to make sure there isn’t a car or a pedestrian there once I got used to them they are OK but there’s a definite learning curve.
