That is sort of true but it blocks any other information that could be (uesd to be) displayed in that area of the screen. For example the XM channel and song name that was available there before. Sure it is not critical but to lose some useful function for useless advertising blocking the...
Yes, it started today. My truck is almost exactly 3 years old so this is new. Just after the regular warranty period ended. I didn't get any kind of software/firmware update notice so I don't know how this happened. 😡
Now i'm mad. I always used to have this icon pop up when I started the truck but I was able to get rid of it by touching it and then letting it open the store. Then the icon would be gone until the next start.
NOW I can't get rid of it at all!! I tried selecting it, clearing any messages...
If you touch it it will open the App Store and then you can select something else to get rid of/close the app store. The icon should now be gone (until next time you start your truck and you get to do it again...). Thats how it works on mine.
In an "empty" truck there is much more weight on the front wheels than on the back, so they need more air. If you put 55 in the back it will bounce around too much and give bad ride quality. You can put more air in the back tires when you have more weight over the back wheels (load / trailer).
I don't know if it matters but it has now been 2 months since I got the above Uconnect Box update, and so far no more issues! No more Uconnect BOX messages and I haven't got the crazy turn on buzzing noise.
So if you are having this issue MAYBE the update will help.
Why does it need to be so difficult to change/check your fluids.
Some vehicles don't have dipsticks for engine oil now too. You need to rely on the electronic oil level sensor to tell you if its full or low. CRAZY!
